Known as a catalyst and someone who is not afraid to take risks, Frank has proven success in the marketplace. As the founder and CEO of ASI, Frank is responsible for all acquisitions and strategic business development activities. He sits on several public and private advisory Boards and Boards of Directors, is a graduate of the University of Winnipeg with a major in political science, and has completed the Entrepreneurial Master’s Program on the campus of MIT.

Frank enjoyed early success as an entrepreneur in Western Canada through the startup and creation of the region’s largest food services company and successfully sold that business in 2004. He began his real estate career at the young age of 26 and continued to grow his portfolio of assets and astute business skills, situating himself now as a prominent Real Estate Developer and Investor.

In 2000, Frank moved to Calgary and continued to build momentum with his successful model of acquiring larger buildings and greater capital, shifting his focus to commercial property assemblies in the Calgary Beltline and Downtown Core.  From 2000 – 2005 he acquired twelve (12) “C” class commercial buildings with a land base of three city acres in the S.E. Beltline of Calgary. Frank made the decision to sell his entire portfolio prior to the dramatic market shift in 2007. He then re-launched his company in 2012 and has since amassed over half of a billion dollars in development assets and built an executive management team of industry leaders.

Committed to community engagement and collaboration, Ralph has a long and successful history of completing projects that are what he calls 100 year buildings – buildings that enhance neighbourhoods by becoming an integral part of the landscape and the lifestyle.

Ralph is the VP of Acquisitions and Developments at ASI where he is responsible for asset selection, acquisition, conceptual and strategic planning, site feasibility, financial modeling and marketability.

He brings 30 years of industry experience as a building technologist and an experienced real estate and development professional to this role.

His career in development began in the late 1970’s in a family enterprise, with a multi-tenant commercial retail development on Vancouver Island. Ralph has been the senior lead on many successful construction development projects in Calgary and Vancouver. Projects include commercial, industrial, multi-family low-rise and high-rise residences.

Ralph has directed more than 30 development projects in a lead project management role totaling more than $1 billion dollars in construction costs and over 3.5 million of square feet.

With a firm belief in fully understanding the needs of the client first and foremost, Tim is a relationship oriented professional who is dedicated to serving Arlington's investors and business partners across Canada. Having held senior leadership roles in IIROC,MFDA, EMD and insurance channels, he is well equipped to convey Arlington's unique value proposition to a wide variety of industry professionals. Having resided in Vancouver, Toronto and now Calgary, where he lives with his wife and two daughters, he is well suited to work across Canada and across channels offering a best in class investment.

Detail oriented and highly organized, Kerri has over ten years’ experience as a Professional Real Estate, Corporate Paralegal and Securities Administrator and recently completed the Exempt Market Preparatory Course.

Kerri was also a former licensed mortgage associate and member of RECA. She attended SAIT and Mount Royal and is currently working towards her C.I.M. designation through the Canadian Securities Institute.

Tasha is a results oriented accountant with a proven track record for implementing initiatives that improve financial operations. She studied Business Administration and Accounting and has worked in a range of industries, bringing over 14 years of experience in finance to her role as controller at ASI. Before coming to ASI she spent the last two years providing accounting services to start-up companies and small businesses.

Kirby brings extensive administrative and office management experience to the team as a former successful business owner, executive assistant, office manager, property and project manager within the development industry. Through perseverance, personal growth and experience coupled with an inclination and appreciation for entrepreneurship, Kirby knows business and what is required to keep the back office running for a dynamic, fast paced, high growth organization like ASI. Her education includes a Bachelor of Commerce, Finance and Urban Land Use, as well as her Project Management and Business Analysis designations. 

Concise, detail-oriented and passionate about her work, Carla brings over 25 years of legal experience to ASI. A self-professed student of life, Carla is keenly interested in personal growth and providing top-notch products and services to clients, co-workers, friends and family alike.

Chris Ollenberger is a seasoned real estate development executive with over 18 years of broad real estate management, design, planning, construction, and engineering experience in creating innovative, sustainable urban communities and buildings.  He is well recognized for his ability to conceptualize new neighborhoods and buildings and carry that vision through planning, engineering, approvals and construction with cost-effective results and problem solving.

Chris successfully led the development of Three Sisters Mountain Village in Canmore, Alberta prior to its sale in 2007, increasing land values by over 175% during his term, while dedicating hundreds of acres of land to permanent environmental easements.  In a more recent role as President and CEO of CMLC, he led every aspect of the redevelopment of East Village in downtown Calgary, utilizing his broad and diverse experience to successfully bring over $650M of development projects to the community by third parties.

He enjoys a strong track record of strategic planning, public consultation, visioning and concept development, negotiating with regulatory officials at all levels, complex land use and development approvals, engineering submissions, feasibility analysis, site acquisition, financing and effective communications.

Jessica is an urban planner with several years of progressive planning experience in inner city policy and redevelopment approvals. Most recently, she worked for the City of Calgary as a Senior Planner for Land Use Amendment Services where she has managed, evaluated, and presented a number of complex inner city projects to Calgary Planning Commission and City Council. Jessica’s role with ASI is as lead consultant working directly with the investment team to ensure that both the land use and planning for ASI development are analyzed, articulated, and executed.

From high level policy and master plan development to implementation, Jessica has a passion for advancing inner city redevelopment and a track record of building consensus and understanding with clients, inner city communities, City administration and Council. Building on skill sets and relationships developed through working on a wide variety of projects with significant political sensitivities, Jessica is focused on enabling quick resolution to redevelopment project challenges. Her style is to work collaboratively and proactively to find creative solutions that meet the needs of her clients- critical in today’s shifting policy and approvals environments.

Phil has over 15 years’ experience as a project manager and technical and construction lead for many complex projects. Phil has extensive experience in implementing innovative and sustainable urban projects through design, strategic planning, cost saving engineering and ingenuity.

Phil’s role with ASI is negotiating with regulatory officials in all capacities – engineering, environmental remediation and effective development design and project operational management.

In a recent role as Director of Construction and Development for the CMLC, he was responsible for the overall urban renewal in the East Village and creating a public realm which included streetscapes, Fort Calgary edge landscaping, wetland, heritage building revitalization, and all aspects of the surface and underground utility infrastructure.

Julie is the founder of pop design group. Since 1993, she has led talented teams on design projects from Calgary to Los Angeles. Julie’s effervescent attitude and outstanding ability to oversee and inspire a variety of design projects has enriched her perspective and attracted a host of talented designers and specialists.

Julie focuses on style, smart interior design and pop’s expertise and talents have enriched the vision for many residential and multi-family designs, senior’s residences, restaurant and hospitality destinations, night clubs, corporate, medical, retail and recreational facilities. Julie’s sophisticated taste and fashion forward approach also drives the branding for the design group.

Julie’s role with ASI is to ensure that our projects are streamlined, stunning and on budget. Julie works directly with our various tenants as a consultant on building out their spaces and ensuring that all of our clients’ expectations are met.
